Nearly four kilograms of cocaine was found in Narisara's checked luggage.

Tan Son Nhat airport's customs officers have arrested a Thai woman for smuggling nearly four kilograms of cocaine into Vietnam.
Pantimoong Narisara, 25, was arrested on July 29 after customs officers at the Ho Chi Minh City airport found 3.97 kilograms of cocaine in her checked luggage.
The cocaine was sealed in several layers of plastic and hidden carefully in the sides of her suitcase, customs officers said, putting the estimated market price of the illegal consignment at nearly VND25 billion (US$1.18 million).

Pantimoong arrived on the flight QR964 from Qatar’s Doha Airport to HCMC after taking an earlier flight from Sao Paulo in Brazil.
Police are investigating the case.
In related news, on June 6, a Thai man was arrested at Tan Son Nhat airport with five kilograms of cocaine hidden in his fale-bottomed suitcase.
Customs officials said the man, identified only as S.Y., was going through customs after landing at the airport when they found the roughly VND32 billion ($1,5 million) worth of cocaine.
Vietnam has some of the world's toughest drug laws. Those convicted of smuggling more than 600 grams of heroin or cocaine face may face death by lethal injection.
