A video clip has gone viral online, showing a snatcher on a motorbike approaching a woman and forcefully grabbing her necklace on a Ho Chi Minh City street last week. 

The theft happened on Nguyen Tat Thanh Street in District 4 at 11:30 a.m. on January 10, local media reported. 

In the video, the man sped up and fiercely snatched the necklace from the woman, who was also driving a scooter, from her left, making her reel along the street barrier. 

The woman plunged her bike straight into the barrier and collapsed. 

The snatcher drove away. A passer-by motorist stopped and helped the woman. 

It seemed that the woman was not severely injured in the incident.
