Time warp: How Hanoi has changed throughout the years
By Thanh Nien News -
Last month, France’s Toulouse City and Hanoi’s Old Quarter Management Board opened a permanent exhibition that features more than 100 panels explaining the history and evolution of the Old Quarters from the 19th century to the early 20th century.
The exhibition was held as part of the cooperation between the cities of Hanoi and Toulouse, which has been working for the preservation of the Old Quarter for over 20 years.
The panels reveal the changes in architecture, daily life and the people of Hanoi in the past and present.
Let’s take a look at these changes.
